Childreach Nepal envisions a world where all children have the opportunity to unlock their potential in life. Their mission is to improve children’s access to healthcare, education and protection to restore child rights, empowering resilient children to create positive change through community-based solutions.

They engage deeply with their community partners, using human-centered methods of participatory enquiry to identify the challenges they face in keeping their children healthy and safe in school. They work with them to identify and explore potential solutions, and help provide access to the resources and expertise that they need to own and implement these plans. This work, although often complex to quantify and measure, brings about long term sustainable change. They work in three strategic pillars namely child Protection, sports for development and schools as centers for community development (education), which is at the heart of everything we do, within our communities. They work with Children through the project ‘My School My voice’, engaging with children to help them raise their voice and learn about their rights, likewise through project ‘Chhori’, we are addressing issues related to menstrual hygiene by installing a pad making machine in a school. They also make use of sports as it is an ideal platform through which they engage with children and youths with gender equality and personal development. Through the school-based community development, they use schools as centers for development and activity, to raise their profile and consequently their ability to influence and be influenced by the families in their communities.

A little support from your end could help bring positive changes in the lives of many children in rural areas.The funds raised through this platform will be utilized to conduct ECD training to 15 facilitators from 10 schools and monitor their progress over the year and to establish five model ECD classrooms at Panchpokhari Thangpal Gaunpalika, Sindupalchok.
