About the Campaign
One of NYF’s main area of work is the empowerment of disadvantaged youths through quality vocational training. The project aims to help the youths from very poor economic status and marginalized groups become economically independent and lead dignified lives.
The funds raised through this platform will be utilized specifically to provide vocational training and career counseling for the targeted youths. The youths will receive the training at Nepal Youth Foundation’s own vocational school which is equipped with high quality modern tools and equipment. The School offers three month long training courses in four engineering trades and one in care-giving, viz:
Plumbing
Electrics
Welding
Carpentry
Caregiver
Hundreds of youth have benefited from this program, but fundraising for the cause is a challenging work.
