About the Campaign
The project is composed of three major initiatives. First, murals were painted in a hospital corridor to revitalize the waiting area. Second, artworks made of hospital waste were installed in the hospital lobby as a method of up cycling nonhazardous waste and further enlivening the hospital’s ambience. Third, an art based therapy workshop with young art students was conducted for child cancer patients. In using art as a means of therapy, waste management, and inspiration, this project is the first of its kind in Nepal.
Where will the funds go?
The funds raised will be utilized in incorporating art in therapy, murals and installation of non-hazardous up cycled waste, aiming to serve the purpose of a therapeutic experience to the patients and positive distraction for every visitor of the hospital, keeping sustainability a priority.
