Voices of Women (VOW) Media have been empowering girls and women by providing necessary media trainings and workshops. We believe this recent initiative of establishing a first ever feminist library will serve needy people in spreading and nurturing knowledge in the feminist world. VOW Media’s Junkiri is a new initiative and will be the first of its kind in Nepal: a permanent space dedicated specifically to feminist and women-centred literature and ideas. It will be an important gathering place and source of information, contributing to the cultivation and strengthening of the feminist consciousness in Nepal

Where will the funds go?

  1. To purchase a computer that will serve as a server for e-books. (1,00,000)
  2. To purchase books, import rare books from abroad. (1,00,000)
  3. To buy library logistics. (1,00,000)
